Well on our way, because we have taken many steps in the field of corporate social responsibility in recent years. Three highlights that we are very proud of:

• The 23 advanced packaging machines in the bol fulfillment center ensure smarter and tailor-made packaging of items. Packages are smaller, less material is used and the box contains as little dead air as possible. Moreover, we increasingly send items without a so-called outer box. In 2023, we sent no less than 5.1 million of these types of ‘NoPack orders’, an increase of 20 percent compared to 2022.
• The daily operations in our distribution centers are carried out by CEVA, a company with years of expertise in fulfillment. Together we stand for equal pay: the employment conditions for all employees in our distribution centers are the same, regardless of whether it is a permanent or temporary contract.
• With the bollebozen initiative, we are committed to equal opportunities for children in the field of reading development and digital skills.
